About the publication
Clear guidance for everyday life.
A calm, accountable publication about comfortable feet, steadier movement and ageing with confidence.
A practical publication
Steady on Feet exists to make foot care, comfortable movement and everyday confidence easier to understand. It is written for older adults, carers and family members in the UK.
We prefer one useful explanation over a long list of products or conditions. Every guide should leave the reader with a clear next step and a clear boundary around what it cannot decide for them.
Authorship without invented authority
The launch edition uses an interim editorial-team profile because the intended named author’s public name, biography, experience, qualifications and portrait have not yet been verified and approved for publication.
Those details will be added only in the author’s own words and only after she has agreed what can be public. Until then, the site makes no personal experience or qualification claims on her behalf.
General information, not diagnosis
Steady on Feet does not diagnose conditions, prescribe individual exercises or replace advice from a GP, pharmacist, podiatrist, physiotherapist or other appropriate professional.
New, sudden, severe or worsening symptoms should be discussed with an appropriate healthcare service. Call 999 in a medical emergency.
